PizzaDAO’s in Denver and we’ll be slicing pies all week! Besides being the largest and longest running ETH event in the world, ETHDenver is also (with SporkDAO) the first event-based DAO in the world. We’re honored to support all the web3 hacking this week with some hot, cheesy, saucy goodness. But where will you find us (and our pizza)?
We’ll be chatting Public Goods at the International Church of Cannabis, stretching cheese at MetaPod’s launch event and saucing up the joint with Raid Guild afterwards. Public Goods Pizza Party @ The International Church of Cannabis

Superchief Gallery is an independent artist-run gallery founded in 2012 by Edward Zipco & Bill Dunleavy in Brooklyn, NY with a history of supporting artists from disparate scenes & collectives, enabling them to participate in the larger community. More recently, they’ve become a pioneer in the IRL NFT gallery space, curating and organizing shows all over the country: from New York City to Miami, Los Angeles, and everywhere in between.
Rainbow Rolls is everyone’s favorite toilet paper NFT, and a fundraising vehicle that paid off $7M of medical debt through the charity RIPMedicalDebt! Rainbow Rolls community members Chair and Launch Ninja helped big time in the planning of this pizza party AND we’re proud to say that some very rare Rare Pizzas (like the one below) have NFTP as a topping.
What goes better together than cannabis and pizza? CannaDAO is at the forefront of a new area in the cannabis industry, aiming to push the boundaries of traditional finance. Following long struggles for cannabis rights, both in recreational and medical use, significant legal breakthroughs in the past decades have led to increased tolerance, decriminalization and legalization around the world.
Okay, some would argue that beer rivals weed as a pizza pairing. BeerDAO would definitely argue that. Their goal? Create a vast network of community-owned locations that allow for NFT holders to benefit with special perks and claimable prizes.
Cheech and Chong’s first NFT project, Homies in Dreamland, is a collection of 10,420 homies designed by artist Jermaine Rogers. When we started planning our event at The International Church of Cannabis, they were very high on our list. Though the stony pair won’t be making it to Denver this year, attendees at our Public Goods Pizza Party might have a special welcome from the two in store for them. Plus, everyone gets one of the awesome tote bags pictured above!
PeopleDAO is a metaDAO governed by the $PEOPLE token. Born from a landmark event in Web3 when a group of internet friends tried to buy a copy of the US Constitution for $45M and were ultimately thwarted by the CEO of Citadel, PeopleDAO’s community is building and has big plans for the future as a Service DAO.
Giveth’s community is focused on Building the Future of Giving using blockchain technology. Their intention is to support and reward the funding of public goods by creating open, transparent, and free access to the revolutionary funding opportunities available within the Ethereum ecosystem. Create a project and start applying for grants today. We did!
Chainlink is everyone’s favorite oracle network and a long-time PizzaDAO partner. Both our Rare Pizzas Box and Rare Pizzas NFTs use Chainlink’s Verifiable Random Functions to make sure there’s no gotcha in our gacha. We’re also excited that one of our Dread Pizza Roberts will be a part of their panel on NFTs as collateral from 5–7pm on Wednesday the 16th! RSVP for that here.
MetaPod’s a hybrid accelerator program designed to onboard and accelerate new DAOs and communities into the Ethereum ecosystem via IRL events and local meetups.
Raid Guild believes in Web3 and they’re here to build it, use it, and propagate it. The profits from their work will be used to fund development of open source tooling and public goods (hello pizza!). Then they’ll share the learnings from their experiments and open source their processes for the community to learn and build from.
Reach is the secret sauce to building faster, safer, smarter decentralized apps. They’ve been a PizzaDAO ally since we met in Miami during Art Basel and we’re looking forward to BUIDLing together!
MetaPod’s Launch Event at Woods Boss Brewing

The MetaPod Program Launch Event is a DAO pitch competition held during ETHDenver BUIDL week, and the first IRL experience to kick off the MetaPod 6-week DAO Accelerator Pilot Program. Winning teams are set to win up to $10,000 and be fast-tracked into the MetaPod DAO Accelerator. This is an invite-only event limited to 100 attendees, but there will be an afterparty in a public area of the brewery with some free drinks and MetaPod swag!

What’s next for PizzaDAO?
This May 22, in honor of Laszlo, we’re throwing our second Global Pizza Party again! Last year, we spent $330,000 on pizza in 65 countries, most of it $625 at a time to the over 300 pizzerias in our network, who we told to tip their staff $125 and give away $500 worth of pizza to their communities. Help us throw an even larger pizza party this year by minting our Rare Pizzas NFTs on our website!
